Responsible for the full scope of marketing, including market research and analysis, brand management, product development and management, advertisements and promotions, web services, internal and external corporate communications and media relations. Great teamwork is required for shared responsibilities with other managers requiring close collaboration, for example on product development and customer experience.
Principal Activities & Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan within budget, inclusive of:
Marketing communications through advertising, promotions, website and social media;
Corporate communications including PR, media and donor relations;
Product management, costing and pricing, development and launch, performance measurement and enhancement, life-cycle management, placement and sales channel development in collaboration with other managers and departments;
Develop measurable/appropriate research, questionnaires and survey methods;
Branding and brand management;
Identify and progress further diversication; opportunities for the business in keeping with the brand and the company’s overall Vision, Mission and Strategy;
Market research and surveys;
Represents Company at community projects and public, social, and business events;
Innovate and execute: be solution and performance oriented;
Ensure that all marketing projects are delivered on time and within budget. Measure and report on results of advertising and promotional programs;
Performs other related duties as required.
Experience, Education & Qualifications:
As the Marketing Manager you will have a heart for conservation and education and enjoy making a positive change for the greater good of the Cayman Islands and an endangered species! You will have an undergraduate degree in Marketing or a relevant certicate (with relevant experience) from a recognized university or college. You will have not less than ve years of experience of marketing in the tourism sector or within more than one related business/industry with a company comparable to the size of the CTC. You will have technical skills in public and media relations, market analysis, product/service development, social media content management and costing and pricing. You will have strong communication skills of all levels both verbally & written. You will demonstrate experience in campaign development and management. You will also have experience negotiating with and managing relations with third party organizations including media buying and contract negotiations. You will demonstrate a proven project management track record with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders and the know-how to deliver the project on-time and in-budget. You will also have strong knowledge of industry best practices. You’ll have the ability to travel internationally and work exible hours as required and sometimes at short notice.
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are normally from Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5 pm, but can often require weekend, holiday and evening work.
Compensation and Benefits:

Salary is commensurate with experience in the range of: (CI$62,531 to $84,097).
