On our Peafowl Islands meet Blue, a proud blue peacock, and Snowflake, a white peacock named for the image he calls to mind when he spreads his tail feathers! While the peafowl may be our “proudest” bunch, they are not the national bird. That fame goes to our Cayman parrot, who displays all the colours of the national flag! At the Caribbean Aviary, we have both the Grand Cayman and the Cayman Brac parrot along with several other colourful bird species on display, including finches, ibis, native pigeons and doves, and Bananaquits.
