Schooners Bar & Grill takes service-with-a-smile seriously. That is why Nickesha Williams is one of the new Schooners crew members. With more than 12 years’ experience, Ms Williams, a Mixologist, is very good at making sure customers get just the kind of service which makes them smile, too.
“I love dealing with customers, and I love to make drinks,” she said. “Schooners is such a nice environment to come and eat some food and drink,” she said. “I make my customers the best drink, ever,” she said.
Ms Williams takes care over all the drinks she serves, but she loves to fix lovely cocktails best, which is good news because Schooners other bartender, Carlington Grand (known simply as “Kelly) has been inventing some new ones. One is called, Seventh Wave, after CTC Managing Director Tim Adam suggested the name. The other is named after one of CTC’s most popular turtles, and is called Myrtle’s Muddle. They are both delicious!
Seventh Wave is made with all – Cayman ingredients, including locally grown peppers, which infuse the syrup which is used for the drink, and then add Seven Fathoms Rum, which is locally distilled. Myrtles muddle is made with ‘muddled down’ citrus fruit, lemon and lime slices, with some syrup, and with Governors Reserve rum. Only the best!
