This is our most visible and recognized type of release. Head-started turtles range from 1 - 2 or more years old. The size of the turtle at this age greatly ensures the possibility of survival in the wild. Usually done for schools, private and corporate sponsors, and public events such as World Sea Turtle Day and ‘Pirates Week’.
