TURTLE SAFARI

This tour gives visitors access to:
  • Green’s Breeding Bay - The Breeding Bay is home to our green sea turtles that have reached reproduction age, which typically is about 16 years in human care. There are a few green sea turtles here that weigh more than 500 pounds!
  • Turtle Encounters - First-hand encounters with our young’uns, we call them yearlings.
  • Smiley’s Croc Cove - Our 11 ft Cayman crocodile is a delight, maybe she will even treat you to her winning smile.
  • The Education Centre & Hatchery - Visit the Education Centre to learn more about turtles and our conservation programmes. Plus, you can witness new hatchlings making their way up through the sand during our turtle breeding season (April to September).
  • Predator Reef - Watch sharks and other predators through the viewing panel. Don't miss out on our Shark Talks and feeding time!
  • Caribbean Free Flight Aviary - Colourful birds of Cayman and the Caribbean fly freely in our Aviary including our national bird, the Cayman Parrot. You’ll have them feeding out of your hand in no time.
  • Blue Hole Nature Trail - Stroll along this trail and view the beautiful nature that Cayman has to offer, including the national flower and native trees.
  • Cayman Street - Walk down this gravel street to view traditional Caymanian architecture, featuring sand gardens and conch shells.
  • Schooner’s Bar & Grill - Schooner’s Bar & Grill is an open-air eatery where diners can relax on a covered deck overlooking our Turtle Lagoon. The menu boasts a range of Caribbean and international items to tease and please every palate. Enjoy a tropical drink or ask for the island’s very own beer - Caybrew.
  • Splash Gift Shop - The gift shop has something for everyone, so don't forget to pick up a souvenir before you leave.

  • Swim and snorkel in our Turtle Lagoon - Enjoy a wonderful experience, swimming, and snorkeling in our saltwater lagoon with green sea turtles and other marine life. There are also little islands where peacocks live.
  • Underwater adventures at the Predator Reef - View sharks and other predators through underwater and dry viewing spots. Feeding time is quite exhilarating.
  • Take a dip in Breakers Lagoon - This is the largest swimming pool in the Cayman Islands and features two waterfalls as well as an underwater view of the predator tank.
  • Ride the Turtle Twister Waterslide - Feel the rush of sliding down a classic figure 8 water slide with over 600 gallons of rushing water per minute.
  • Splash Gift Shop - The gift shop has something for everyone, so don't forget to pick up a souvenir before you leave.
